JoBa is derived from the founders’ names, Job and Babu — symbolizing trust, partnership, and a shared vision. It started with a simple frustration: too much of what’s sold as “pure” spice on store shelves isn’t. Fillers, added colour, and stock that’s sat in a warehouse for months labelled fresh.

JoBa Naturals was built to be the plain, honest alternative — agricultural products that are exactly what the label says they are, nothing added to stretch them further or make them look better than they are.

“If it isn’t something we’d put on our own family’s table, it doesn’t go in the pack.”

Unadulterated, on purpose

Every product we pack is 100% natural — no preservatives, no artificial colour, no flavour additives. That’s not a marketing line, it’s the entire reason the company exists. Turmeric should taste like turmeric grown in the ground, not turmeric plus something to make it look brighter on a shelf. When you buy from us, what’s in the pack is what grew in the field.

Close to the source, close to home

We buy close to the growing regions rather than through long chains of middlemen — which means more of what you pay reaches the people who actually grew, dried, or milled the product, not just whoever has the biggest warehouse. Packing in small batches to order, instead of stockpiling for months, is slower and less efficient. We think it’s worth it, both for freshness and for the farmers and small producers on the other end of that chain.
